Mohamed Chibi shines for Pyramids with a bold goal

Moroccan international Mohamed Chibi scored a remarkable goal during the 6th round of the Egyptian Premier League, contributing to Pyramids’ 3-0 victory over Pharco Football Club on Wednesday at the Air Defense Stadium.

Chibi’s goal, scored in the 22nd minute, was a result of quick thinking and opportunism. After the opposing goalkeeper made a poor clearance and ended up on the ground, the ball landed at the feet of the Moroccan defender. Without hesitation, Chibi delivered a precise strike with the inside of his foot, lofting the ball over the helpless goalkeeper to open the scoring.

Pyramids extended their lead through Samson Obed Ougola (53’) and Fiston Mayele (68’). Solid in defense and efficient in attack, Jaime Pacheco’s men reaffirmed their status as serious title contenders.

This victory keeps Pyramids in 2nd place in the league standings, level on points with leaders Zamalek but trailing on goal difference. Positioned on the right flank of the defense, Mohamed Chibi continues to prove his importance to the squad with consistent and decisive performances.
