Paris Saint-Germain returned to winning ways in Ligue 1 this Saturday with a convincing 3-0 victory away at Brest. The win was clear and well-deserved, highlighted by a brace from Achraf Hakimi, the undisputed man of the match at the Stade Francis-Le Blé.
After two consecutive draws in the league, Luis Enrique’s side needed a result to get back on track. Despite a cautious start and a few defensive scares, PSG eventually made the difference thanks to the Moroccan international. First set up by Vitinha, Hakimi opened the scoring with a perfectly controlled low shot in the 29th minute. Ten minutes later, he doubled the lead with a powerful strike into the top corner, following a brilliant team move initiated by Kvaratskhelia (39th).
Brest could have pulled one back before halftime, but Romain Del Castillo missed his penalty, sending the ball over the bar. In the second half, Paris managed their lead well and added a third goal in stoppage time (90+6), sealing a convincing victory.
