Leicester Falters Despite El Khannouss’ Strong Performance

Leicester sinks further after a crushing 4-0 defeat to Brentford, a setback that keeps the club in 19th place in the Premier League. With just three points from their last five matches, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side sees Wolverhampton, 17th and the first team above the relegation zone, as their only hope of survival. Meanwhile, 16th-placed West Ham already seems out of reach, sitting 10 points ahead with a game in hand.

In this difficult context, Bilal El Khannouss once again delivered a solid performance. The Moroccan international, who started the match and played the full 90 minutes, impressed with his distribution, providing several brilliant passes to his attackers—who severely lacked efficiency. Despite his growing influence, Leicester failed to capitalize on their chances.

At just 20 years old, El Khannouss is establishing himself as one of Leicester’s standout players this season. His talent is undeniable, but without a swift collective reaction, he could see his Premier League future fade along with Leicester’s.
