Real Betis suffered a defeat (0-2) against Atlético Madrid during the 10th matchday of LaLiga, despite the remarkable performances of Sofyan Amrabat and Abde Ezzalzouli.
In midfield, Amrabat delivered an exemplary performance. Ubiquitous in recovery, precise in distribution, and intelligent in ball usage, the Moroccan international was the main balancing point of Manuel Pellegrini’s setup, even while physically diminished.
Up front, Abde embodied the main offensive threat. He stood out with a powerful shot saved by Oblak in the first half, followed by a free kick that hit the crossbar after the break.
Despite their efforts, Betis could not break through the Madrid block and has now gone two matches without scoring. A frustrating setback, but positive signals for both Moroccans, who were again among the most effective on the Sevilla side.
