    Ismael Saibari scores in PSV’s victory against Liverpool

    PSV Eindhoven claimed a prestigious 3-2 victory over Liverpool in the final match of the Champions League group stage. Starting the game, Ismael Saibari played a key role in the Dutch side’s success. The Reds took the lead through a penalty converted by Cody Gakpo, but Johan Bakayoko quickly equalized for PSV. Harvey Elliott then restored Liverpool’s advantage before Saibari leveled the score once again. Just before halftime, Ricardo Pepi put Peter Bosz’s team ahead.

    In the second half, Liverpool pushed hard to get back into the game, but PSV displayed strong defensive resilience. Ismael Saibari remained active, contributing to his team’s attacking efforts. In the 75th minute, the Moroccan international was substituted to a standing ovation from the Philips Stadion, recognizing his outstanding performance. Despite several attempts from Federico Chiesa and the Reds, the Dutch side held onto their lead. Late in the match, Liverpool was reduced to ten men after Amara Nallo was sent off for a foul on Bakayoko.

    With this victory, PSV Eindhoven finishes 14th in their group and qualifies for the Champions League playoff round. Once again, Atlas Lion Ismael Saibari proved his importance to the PSV squad, scoring a crucial goal and posing a constant threat to Liverpool’s defense. The Dutch club can now look ahead to the next stage of their European journey with confidence and ambition.
