Imrân Louza led Watford to a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in the 33rd round of the English Championship. The Moroccan international provided the assist for the only goal of the match.
Louza delivered an outstanding performance, coming close to scoring in the 13th minute with a header, but the goalkeeper was alert. He also created several chances for his teammates.
The most notable Watford attack came in the 40th minute, when Louza played a well-timed through ball to Moussa Sissoko, which resulted in a corner after a defensive intervention by Middlesbrough. That corner was decisive, as Louza quickly took it and sent in an accurate cross that Sissoko converted into a goal with a powerful header to open the scoring.
With this victory, Watford moved up to 10th place in the standings with 45 points, just three points behind the 6th place, which qualifies for the promotion playoffs.
