On matchday two of the UAE Pro League, Al Ain secured a hard-fought but well-deserved 3-2 victory at Dibba, thanks to a standout performance from Moroccan player Hussein Rahimi. This triumph came in the absence of his brother and team leader, Soufiane Rahimi, who is currently sidelined due to injury and undergoing rehabilitation. Hussein stepped up to the occasion, taking responsibility and delivering a decisive contribution at a crucial moment of the match.

The match was full of twists and turns. After Laba Kodjo opened the scoring and added a second goal to give Al Ain the lead in the first half, Dibba came back in the second half to level the score, keeping the suspense alive until the final minutes. Just when the game seemed destined for a draw, Hussein Rahimi made the difference. In the sixth minute of stoppage time, he delivered a perfectly placed header to score the winning goal, securing all three points for his team and temporarily propelling Al Ain to the top of the standings with six points.

It is worth noting that this match-winning goal came after Rahimi was introduced in the second half. He replaced his fellow Moroccan Nassim Chadli in the 83rd minute and immediately demonstrated his decisive impact on the game, confirming his growing role within the team.
