LOSC officially announced on Thursday the arrival of Moroccan international Hamza Igamane from Rangers. After successfully completing his medical earlier in the morning, the 22-year-old forward signed with the northern club.
The deal amounts to around €12 million, including bonuses, according to multiple reliable sources. The player has signed a three-year contract with an additional year option.
Trained at FAR Rabat, Hamza Igamane joined Rangers in 2024, quickly establishing himself as a promising forward. His performances in Scotland earned him his first call-up to the Moroccan national team last March.
Courted by Lille for several months, the Moroccan striker will now make his debut in Ligue 1. He joins an already well-stocked attacking line, where Bruno Genesio was seeking additional depth and versatility.
LOSC hopes to field their new signing this weekend against FC Lorient, pending completion of administrative formalities.
