Paris Saint-Germain secured a 4-1 victory against Rennes at Roazhon Park during the 25th round of Ligue 1. Despite a revamped squad, the Parisians opened the scoring in the 27th minute thanks to Bradley Barcola. After the halftime break, Gonçalo Ramos doubled the lead in the 50th minute, but Rennes quickly reacted with a goal from Brassier in the 53rd minute, momentarily reigniting the match.
Substituted in at the 74th minute, Achraf Hakimi brought his speed and technical precision to the Parisian game. In the final moments of the match, as Rennes attempted to equalize, the Moroccan was involved in the Parisian team’s third goal. In the 90+1 minute, he perfectly assisted Ousmane Dembélé, who simply had to push the ball into the net. Hakimi could have finished the action himself, but he chose the collective option by providing the assist, once again illustrating his selflessness and football intelligence.
Moments later, in the 90+4 minute, Dembélé scored his second goal to seal the victory for PSG.
With this latest assist, the Moroccan international has now recorded a total of six assists in Ligue 1 this season, in addition to his four goals. His entry was crucial in helping PSG avoid a complicated finish and securing a more substantial victory than expected against an enterprising Rennes team.
