Samir Hadji once again proved his crucial importance to his team by scoring the winning goal that propelled Differdange into the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

Against The New Saints, in the second leg of the second qualifying round, it was Hadji’s confidently converted penalty in the second half that made the difference, sealing a 1-0 win and a 2-0 aggregate score. The Moroccan player’s clinical finish from the spot, awarded after a handball in the box, ended the Welsh hopes and sent the Luxembourg club to the next stage of the European competition.

Throughout his UEFA competition career, Samir Hadji has accumulated impressive stats. In total, he has scored 14 goals and provided 3 assists across the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League combined.
