FIFPRO revealed its ideal World Team for the year 2025 this Monday, a prestigious distinction awarded exclusively by the votes of professional players. A rare honor, symbolizing recognition among peers. Among these eleven global stars is Achraf Hakimi, a worthy representative of Moroccan and African football.

Having had an exceptional season with Paris Saint-Germain, the right-back for the Atlas Lions has once again proven that he is among the best in his position. Defensively unyielding and offensively decisive, Hakimi has established himself as a cornerstone of the Parisian club, consistently delivering high-level performances in the Champions League and the league.

Although he finished only 6th in the last Ballon d’Or, a ranking deemed by many to be below his true value, Achraf Hakimi sees his season rewarded appropriately through this inclusion in the FIFPRO World XI 2025. This distinction honors his talent, exemplary conduct, and growing influence on world football.

By joining names such as Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham, and the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé, Hakimi further places Morocco on the map of elite football.

A national pride, an African icon, and a role model for an entire generation of young Moroccan players.
