Fenerbahçe secured their spot in the quarter-finals of the Ziraat Turkish Cup with an impressive 4-1 victory over Gaziantep FK. Youssef En-Nesyri was the standout performer, providing an assist for the opening goal and scoring a spectacular acrobatic volley just minutes later.

From the very first minutes, Fenerbahçe set the pace and quickly found the breakthrough thanks to Anderson Talisca. Perfectly assisted by En-Nesyri with a brilliant pass, the Brazilian calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper in the 17th minute.

Moments later, En-Nesyri lit up the stadium with a moment of brilliance. On a perfectly delivered cross from Kahveci, the Moroccan striker rose high and executed a majestic acrobatic volley, sending the ball into the net past Sokrátis Dióudis to double the lead in the 23rd minute. A goal of pure talent that further solidified his efficiency in front of goal this season.

Talisca continued the offensive showcase by adding a second personal goal in the 27th minute, bringing the score to 3-0 within less than half an hour of play.

Gaziantep FK attempted to respond by reducing the deficit to 3-1 in the 75th minute through Anel Husic, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback. Filip Kostić sealed the deal in the 83rd minute, confirming Fenerbahçe’s dominant performance. A solid display that allowed José Mourinho’s side to calmly advance to the quarter-finals.

With this new goal, Youssef En-Nesyri continues to impress. The Moroccan international now has 25 goals this season, surpassing his personal best of 24 goals set during the 2020-2021 season with Sevilla. He remains a key offensive asset for Fenerbahçe, who will rely on him as they progress further in the competition.
