In the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia, Empoli, featuring Moroccan international Youssef Maleh, achieved the feat of eliminating Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

The Moroccan opened the scoring as early as the 22nd minute with a bold strike. In the build-up, Jacopo Bacci perfectly assisted him, allowing him to get past his opponent before unleashing a powerful shot that deceived Italian international Mattia Perin. This goal was Maleh’s first of the season across all competitions.

However, Khephren Thuram equalized for both teams, forcing a penalty shootout. It was ultimately Empoli that triumphed (4-2 on penalties), leaving the Turin supporters stunned by this surprising elimination.
