In the 8th and final matchday of the Europa League, Olympiakos secured a crucial 3-0 home victory against Qarabağ. In this match, Ayoub El Kaabi once again shone by scoring a brace in the 56th and 60th minutes, giving his team the lead and securing qualification for the next round.

The Moroccan reached a new milestone by becoming the team’s top scorer in this competition, with seven goals, surpassing the previous record of Bent Christensen. El Kaabi’s first goal came after a scramble in the Azeri defense, a close-range shot that allowed Olympiakos to open the scoring at 1-0. A few minutes later, he doubled the lead with an unstoppable strike from a precise pass by García.

In the final minutes of the match, Biancone added a third goal in the 89th minute, sealing Olympiakos’ victory. With this result, Olympiakos, despite finishing in 7th place, secured qualification for the next round without needing to go through the playoffs.

Ayoub El Kaabi continues to make history in the competition, and his name is now among the top Moroccan scorers in the Europa League. The 31-year-old player proves to be a reliable asset for Olympiakos, continuing to honor his exceptional performances on the European stage.

Olympiakos’ qualification for the next round is a well-deserved reward for the team, which can now focus on new goals.
