Bologna FC pulled off a surprise on Wednesday night by defeating AC Milan 1-0 in the Coppa Italia final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Thanks to a solid performance and a decisive second-half goal, Vincenzo Italiano’s men claimed a prestigious title, crowning a remarkable season.

Among the squad members, Moroccan midfielder Oussama El Azzouzi did not take part in the match. However, he is officially a Coppa Italia champion with Bologna, having featured earlier in the tournament. He played the final eight minutes of a home match against Empoli.

The Italian club remains cautious with the Moroccan international, who recently returned from a knee injury that kept him sidelined for several months. Bologna’s sporting management is committed to easing him back into competition gradually, without rushing the process, in order to protect his physical condition and long-term career.
