According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Moroccan international Reda Belahyane, currently playing for the Italian club Hellas Verona, has attracted the interest of several English clubs, with Chelsea showing particular interest.
The transfer market specialist claims that the Blues have made Belahyane their priority to replace Cesare Casadei, whose future at the club remains uncertain. The deal could reportedly be finalized for an estimated €15 million.
Having joined Verona in January 2024 for a modest fee of just €500,000, the Moroccan midfielder has stood out for his consistency and strong performances in Serie A. Now, at just 20 years old, he has become a key player for Verona’s squad. His versatility and vision on the field have naturally caught the attention of Europe’s top clubs. Besides Chelsea, interests have also been reported from Lazio, the two Milan clubs, Napoli, and Olympique de Marseille. This already prestigious list could grow even longer with the entry of Premier League competition.
