The African Football Confederation (CAF) and PUMA have officially presented the official ball of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, named “ITRI.”
Inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige art, this ball pays tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom through its iconic geometric patterns, while embodying the unity and passion that drive African football.
The name ITRI, which means “star” in Amazigh, echoes the star of the Moroccan flag and the characteristic star motifs of zellige.
Equipped with PUMA’s Orbita 6 technology, this ball combines ancestral craftsmanship with modern innovation. Its design perfectly illustrates the meeting of tradition and performance, values cherished by both CAF and PUMA.
The ball will make its official debut during the opening match of the AFCON, scheduled for December 21, 2025, in Morocco.
PUMA accompanied this announcement with a spectacular presentation video, marking another significant milestone in the preparation for the continental tournament.
