A survey reported by the Spanish media outlet AS shows a clear signal in favor of Brahim Díaz. According to the results published on February 12, 2026, 70.9% of participants believe that the Moroccan international deserves a place in Real Madrid’s starting eleven.
According to AS, the consultation was launched via its platforms (social networks and community channels) and gathered over 4,000 votes, with a clear trend: a large majority of supporters want to see Brahim more established in the starting lineup.
A simple message: “starter, not just a substitute”
This endorsement mainly reflects a perception: Brahim is seen by part of the public as a player capable of making an immediate impact, bringing creativity and the ability to make a difference in decisive areas, to the point of no longer being confined to the role of a bench solution.
Caution on the significance of the survey
Like any online survey, it serves as a barometer of opinion among AS’s audience (self-selected voters), and not as a “scientific” measure of all Madrid supporters. However, the indicator remains interesting: it confirms that Brahim has gained credibility and is now seen as a legitimate option to start.
