Leicester City secured a vital 2-1 victory against Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, during Matchday 23 of the Premier League. The match was highlighted by a decisive goal from Bilal El Khannouss, who delivered a stunning strike in the 50th minute.

Starting the match, the 20-year-old Moroccan international once again demonstrated the full extent of his talent. After Jamie Vardy’s equalizer early in the second half (46’), El Khannouss took control, unleashing a powerful shot from outside the box that left the opposing goalkeeper with no chance (50’). This goal, his third of the season, adds to his three assists across all competitions. He left the field in the 77th minute to applause from the visiting supporters.

Under contract with Leicester until 2028, the Atlas Lion continues to prove himself as a key asset for the Foxes, who are fighting to climb out of the relegation zone. Thanks to this crucial victory, Leicester City has finally moved out of the bottom spots, offering them much-needed breathing room in the battle for survival.
