Emirati club Al Nasr SC secured their second league win with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ajman. Moroccan Marouane Azarkan provided the assist for the match’s only goal, marking his first decisive contribution of the season.
After a goalless first half that ended with an Ajman player being sent off, Al Nasr tried to capitalize on their numerical advantage but struggled to break down Ajman’s defense until Marouane Azarkan came on. Seven minutes after his introduction, the Moroccan delivered a perfect cross to Ivorian Touré, who made no mistake in heading the ball into the net.
In addition to Azarkan, the match featured other Moroccan players on the Ajman side. Walid Azaro started the game, while his compatriots Anas Mtitache and Saad El Hadani came on as substitutes in the second half.
