AS FAR has won the 2025 Women’s Champions League by defeating ASEC Mimosas 2-1 on Friday night at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.
The Military team quickly took the lead. In the 13th minute, Hanane Ait El Haj opened the scoring with a penalty after a first half that was largely controlled by the Moroccans.
Upon returning from the break, ASEC responded and equalized in the 55th minute thanks to Ami Diallo, completely reviving the final.
The match was heading towards an uncertain scenario, but AS FAR made the difference at the end of the game: in the 85th minute, Zineb Redouani converted a second penalty, restoring the lead for the Moroccans, who then managed the final moments until the final whistle.
Already crowned in 2022, the players of AS FAR thus achieve their second continental title, two years after losing the 2024 final to TP Mazembe.
