Anouar Ait El Hadj was decisive in Royal Union Saint-Gilloise’s 1-3 victory over Gent this Sunday in the 20th round of the Belgian Pro League. Coming on at the start of the second half to replace Sofiane Boufal, the Moroccan scored the third goal for his team, securing their victory.
Ait El Hadj, 22 years old, immediately energized his team’s attack upon his entry onto the field. In the 56th minute, he found the back of the net and could have even scored a second goal had he been more clinical, as he missed other opportunities that came his way.
The match also saw the presence of 19-year-old Soulaimane Berradi, who was included in the matchday squad for the second time this season, although he did not play.
