Al Ahly and Club America target Idrissi

After his outstanding performance in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup with Mexican club Pachuca, Oussama Idrissi has caught the attention of several clubs, including Club America and Egyptian giant Al Ahly, both of whom are considering securing the services of the Moroccan player.

Journalist and former Egyptian international Khaled El Ghandour revealed Al Ahly’s interest in signing Oussama Idrissi during the winter transfer window, citing his impressive playing qualities and the high level he demonstrated during the Intercontinental Cup, whether against Al Ahly, representing Africa, or Botafogo, the Brazilian representative from South America.

At the same time, several Mexican sources believe that an imminent separation between Idrissi and Pachuca is about to be announced, but this time for a move to Club America, the most successful club in Mexican football and the CONCACAF Cup, which had shown interest in signing the player even before his move to Pachuca. This speculation is further supported by his recent Instagram post, in which he thanked Pachuca, interpreted as a farewell message and a clear sign of his departure from the club.

With an impressive track record, including two Eredivisie titles with Feyenoord and Ajax, where he also won the KNVB Cup, as well as titles with Pachuca (notably the CONCACAF Cup, Derby of the Americas, and Challenge Cup), Oussama Idrissi is seen as a valuable asset. Not only because of his extensive experience with the various teams he has played for, but also considering his salary and market value, which are within the reach of clubs like Al Ahly and Club America.
