Paris Saint-Germain delivered a remarkable performance, winning 4-2 against Manchester City at the Parc des Princes after being down 2-0. A dramatic turnaround that sees the Parisians move into the qualification play-off zone, with a more comfortable position ahead of their trip to Stuttgart next week.
The Parisian goals came from Ousmane Dembélé (56’), Bradley Barcola (60’), Joao Neves (78’), and Sergio Ramos (90+3’). The latter, heavily involved, scored in the final minutes to seal his team’s victory.
Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi almost added his name to the list of scorers. In the first half, he thought he had opened the scoring after a brilliant collective move. The play started with Nuno Mendes, who was released by Vitinha on the left side. He found Barcola at the far post, who then played it back to Hakimi. With a precise strike, Hakimi shot first time, sending the ball past Ederson. Unfortunately for the Moroccan, VAR intervened to rule out the goal for an offside position by Nuno Mendes, nullifying Hakimi’s effort in the 44th minute.
Despite this disappointment, PSG continued their offensive in the second half, equalizing before taking the lead and securing an important victory in this highly competitive group.
