Achraf Bencharki is currently sidelined from Al Ahly’s collective training sessions. The Egyptian club officially announced that the Moroccan international is suffering from pain caused by inflammation of the Achilles tendon.
Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the first team’s medical staff, specified that Bencharki has been excused from sessions with the group in order to benefit from a period of rest. The player is also following a treatment program aimed at promoting his recovery before returning to collective training.
However, Al Ahly has not communicated any duration of unavailability regarding the former Wydad Casablanca player. No return date has been suggested by the club, which will monitor the evolution of his condition over the coming days.
This discomfort comes as Bencharki continues his season wearing the colors of the Cairo club. His progress will now be monitored to determine when he can resume normal training with his teammates.
