The Moroccan women’s U17 team achieved a resounding victory against Kosovo (4-0) on Tuesday, marking their third outing at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto 2026. The Lioncelles of the Atlas built their entire success during the first half.
Nessma Mouradi quickly put Morocco on the right track by scoring a brace in the 7th and 14th minutes. Sonia Abajiou followed suit before the break, finding the net in the 39th and 45th minutes.
After dominating Slovenia with the same score (4-0) and then sharing points with Portugal (2-2), the team led by Youness Rabie remains unbeaten in the competition. Their provisional record stands at two victories, one draw, ten goals scored, and only two conceded.
The Moroccan team will continue their journey on Thursday, August 27, against Italy, their next opponent in these Mediterranean Games.
