Amine Adli participated in Bournemouth’s decisive victory over FC Augsburg (5-2) on Thursday, July 30, as part of their summer preparation. The Moroccan international was a starter in the attacking line for the Cherries during this match held at the Saalfelden Arena in Austria.
Positioned on the left side, Adli attempted to bring his speed and mobility into the final third. The Atlas Lion notably created a chance after a back pass from Justin Kluivert, but his first-time shot went just over the crossbar. However, he was not directly involved in any of his team’s five goals.
Bournemouth opened the scoring through Evanilson before extending their lead with goals from Alex Tóth and Ben Doak. Augsburg then pulled back to 3-2 with a penalty from Alexis Claude-Maurice, followed by a goal from Tim Schnitzer. Marcus Tavernier and Enes Ünal ultimately allowed the English club to regain a comfortable lead and seal their victory. The match was played in a unique format, consisting of four 30-minute periods.
After a first win against Sankt Pauli, Bournemouth continues its preparation on a positive note under the guidance of Marco Rose. For his part, Amine Adli will look to take advantage of the upcoming friendly matches to improve his effectiveness and solidify his place in the attacking rotation ahead of the Premier League restart.
