Two young Moroccan talents shone on Tuesday night during PSV Eindhoven’s victory over FC Eindhoven in a friendly match. Amir Bouhamdi and Sami Bouhoudane contributed to their team’s 3-0 success by both finding the back of the net.
Starting in this preparatory match, Amir Bouhamdi needed only six minutes to open the scoring. The young forward made the difference with an individual effort before beating the opposing goalkeeper. Very active during his time on the field, he attempted three shots and also contributed to the recovery work. However, his match was cut short in the 23rd minute after a clash with Mika de Jonge, as the PSV staff preferred to take no risks.
Substituting for Bouhamdi, Sami Bouhoudane then capped off the evening by scoring PSV’s third goal in the 82nd minute. The Moroccan striker tapped in the ball close to the goal to set the score at 3-0, following the second goal scored by Guus Til in the 33rd minute.
Trained at the PSV academy, both players continue their development within the first team environment. Bouhoudane, an 18-year-old central forward, is contracted until June 2027. PSV is also counting on Bouhamdi for the future and has reportedly begun discussions to extend and enhance his current contract. However, this last piece of information has not yet been officially announced by the club.
This performance serves as another positive signal for the two Moroccans as the 2026-2027 season approaches. Amir Bouhamdi made an impression despite his early exit, while Sami Bouhoudane confirmed his finishing abilities by finding the net shortly after coming on.
