The Moroccan international Oussama Idrissi stood out with Pachuca despite the home defeat against Querétaro (1-2) on Sunday, during the second round of the Liga MX opening tournament.
Starting on the left side of the attack, the Moroccan only needed a few minutes to make an impact. Idrissi broke down the wing before delivering a precise cross to Salomón Rondón, whose header allowed the Tuzos to take the lead as early as the 3rd minute.
However, Pachuca was unable to maintain its advantage. Alí Ávila equalized in the 58th minute before securing the victory for Querétaro in stoppage time, at the 94th minute. Idrissi, for his part, left the pitch in the 83rd minute, replaced by Adrián Alcaraz.
After their convincing victory against Pumas in the first round (3-0), Pachuca thus experienced its first setback of the season. Nevertheless, Idrissi opens his assist account in this Apertura 2026.
