Ibrahim Gomis is participating in the summer preparation of Olympique de Marseille with the professional group. The young Moroccan goalkeeper is among the players from the training center selected to accompany the first team during the return to La Commanderie, in anticipation of the 2026-2027 season.
At 21 years old, the keeper continues his progression within the Phocaean club. Usually integrated into the reserve team, he is taking advantage of this pre-season preparation to work alongside the goalkeepers of the professional group and to showcase himself to the Marseille staff.
A Moroccan international at the under-20 level, Ibrahim Gomis notably participated in the journey of the Lionceaux during the U20 World Cup. His presence with the first team of Marseille marks another important step in his development.
This call-up does not yet guarantee a permanent place in the professional squad, but it confirms the trust placed in the young Moroccan. Gomis will now aim to make the most of each training session and any potential friendly matches to convince the OM staff.
