After the announcement of the list of players selected for the Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Morocco, Hoalid Regragui spoke to the microphone of the FRMF to explain certain choices, particularly the absence of a dedicated press conference for this announcement.
The national coach indicated that this was a personal decision made with the aim of maintaining maximum focus on the upcoming competition. The main objective, according to him, was to communicate the list and then quickly shift attention to the gathering, the deadline for which is approaching rapidly. The Moroccan technician also mentioned the desire to adopt a different approach, recalling that the CAN will subsequently impose a sustained rhythm of press conferences before and after each match.
Reluctant to engage in multiple discussions about the composition of the group, Hoalid Regragui emphasized the collective responsibility of the staff in these choices. The ambition remains clear: to assemble the best possible team, without sidelining anyone, with the hope of creating all the necessary conditions to pursue the continental trophy.
