This Friday, September 5, Morocco’s national team is set to play a decisive clash against Niger in the 7th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Leaders of Group E with five wins in five matches, the Atlas Lions approach the evening with confidence. Yet, the occasion goes beyond football alone: the setting of the game adds a unique dimension.

Return to the Moulay Abdellah Complex

The match will take place at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat, recently renovated in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co-host. Upgraded to meet international standards, the stadium is ready to welcome an atmosphere worthy of African football’s biggest nights.

    Qualification within reach

With 15 points from five games, Morocco dominates its group. A victory against Niger, combined with a slip by Tanzania, would secure immediate qualification for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. It would mark the Atlas Lions’ third consecutive appearance at the World Cup finals, cementing their status among Africa’s elite football nations.

A festive night expected in Rabat

Moroccan fans will not miss this occasion. Tickets sold out in record time, and a full house is guaranteed. The atmosphere promises to be electric, with stands ready to push the Lions toward another victory.

Where and when to watch the match?

Kick-off for Morocco vs Niger is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. (GMT+1). The match will be broadcast live on several channels:

    • Arryadia TNT
    • Al Aoula TNT
    • beIN Sports
