Moroccan attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, 20, has been named Young Player of the Year in the Belgian league for the second time during the Ballon d’Or ceremony held in Brussels. El Khannouss, who played for Genk last season and transferred to Leicester City in August, was awarded 268 points. This recognition rewards his talent and progress.

After impressing at Genk, where he established himself as one of the best young talents in the Pro League, El Khannouss continues his strong performance in the Premier League. Leicester City, who invested in him to strengthen their midfield, is pleased with his quick adaptation to English football.

The Young Player of the Year award, given as part of the Ballon d’Or ceremony, has recognized Belgium’s most promising young talents since 1954. With this second title, Bilal El Khannouss confirms his meteoric rise and establishes himself as a player with a bright future for Moroccan and European football.
