Adam Aznou, the promising young Moroccan defender at Bayern Munich, recently shared his thoughts on his journey, his future plans, and the invaluable support he has received from his national team teammates.

Addressing speculation about a potential loan move in January, Aznou clarified his stance: “At the moment, I don’t want to go out on loan. In my opinion, that’s not the best option for just six months. Maybe that will be an option in the summer, but that depends on how the next few months will go until the end of the season and what is best for my development.”

At 18, having already made his Bundesliga debut, the player is determined to stay at Bayern, continue his progress, and fight for a place in the first team.

Reflecting on the past year, Aznou described 2024 as a pivotal moment in his career: “It was a spectacularly good year for me. With my first Bundesliga game and my debut for the Moroccan national team, I was able to take a big step forward. I achieved all the goals I had set for 2024.”

His performances not only earned him recognition at the club level but also solidified his status as a promising talent for the Moroccan national team.

Looking ahead, Aznou has set clear ambitions to establish himself at Bayern: “I want to fight for a place in the first team; that’s a big challenge at Bayern.”

With fierce competition at one of the best clubs in the world, the defender is aware of the obstacles but is ready to face them head-on.

Aznou also expressed gratitude for the support of his Moroccan teammates, particularly Brahim Díaz and Achraf Hakimi: “My national team teammates, Brahim Díaz and Achraf Hakimi, helped me a lot. Hakimi is now like a brother to me. They gave me the patience and calm you need as a young player taking your first steps in professional football.”

The mentorship of these experienced players has played a key role in Aznou’s smooth transition to senior football, both at the club and international levels.

With clear goals for Bayern and the Moroccan national team, the future looks bright for this talented young defender.
