STOKE CITY believe their excellent new training facilities at Clayton Wood are already having an impact as they endeavour to attract young stars of the future to the Club.

The Academy welcomed a new intake of scholars when they reported back for pre-season training on Tuesday and the Club are delighted with the initial results of increased activity to recruit the game's best young players to boost their hopes of producing first team players.

Among that group of scholars were a number of youth internationals including Karim Rossi from Switzerland, Smajl Suljevic from Sweden and Ryan O'Reilly from Ireland.
